Question about Mitsubishi Cars & Trucks

1 Answer

My Mitsubishi magna 2001 executive tj wagon has done 335,000 km's and recently started vibrating when I'm accelerating. It started just on freeway at 110 km/h and over the last 2 months has gotten worse. I have figured that its the auto trans - when I click it into neutral the vibration or 'wobbling' feeling stops! Occasionally when I am decelerating in D there are weird vibrations and noises coming from the trans too! Haven't checked oil or anything and hasn't been serviced in a while! Just wondering if its a big problem or just need a good service

SOURCE: 2006 Ford Ranger vibration on steering wheel and noise @ 110 Km/h

Check the idler arm and pittman arm, then the tie rod ends for ANY play. The pittman arm is the one on the steering gearbox that connects to the tie rod, and the idler arm is the one that connects from the tie rod to the frame. Replacing the parts is a pretty inexpensive and straightforward job, but you will need to have the wheels re-aligned afterwards.

I have a Mitsubishi magna 2001 model and I'm having computer problems the battery symbol keeps flashing and it keep stalling and won't idall properly

You need to have the Alternator tested, the battery symbol indicates the system voltage is low. The other problems are due to the low voltage.

Mitsu Magna Wagon 98 - Unidentified Electrical Issue

This sounds like a brainer. But if u would like to verify that there is loss of power, u can get a mechanic to execute a compression test on each cylinder to c wut the problem is. This is hard to daignose online. This sounds like something that u have to be there to diagnose if u know wut i mean
