I agree with Steve.Swaybar end links. Most replacements are available with oem rubber or polyurethane bushings. The oem ones will work fine for her vehicle.

SOURCE: rear sway bar link

hi normally its a 15 mm spanner that goes between the link and the bar to stop it turning while on the opposite side an 18 mm socket is used to undo the nut .

SOURCE: front sway bar on 1999 explorer is broke

Yes you will, and I would check the other suspension parts for wear first, ball joints are a major problem on this vehicles and cause the tires wear.

are you refering to the 5/16" bolt with 4 rubber bushings? 2 on each end? If so, cut them. Everything you need will come in kit. Bolts, bushings and sleeves.

Did Ford make F150 XLT 2wd with no sway bars in 1995? I purchased one and there is no sway bar in front end.

My research tells me that yes, they did come with sway bars. There should be two mounting holes on that axle. The sway bar comes in a curved model that fits 1995's. You probably already figured this out but I thought I'd help!

I have a 2006 infiniti g35x I notice the car is making a thumping noise in the front end and is more noticeable at lower speeds it does not necessarily get worse with breaking but does not change seems to...

It's the anti-sway bar endlinks. My '06 g35x has the same symptoms - clunking at low speeds, varying from which side of the car the noise comes from as to which side of the car is hitting bumps in the road surface. EASY to replace yourself with the front end on jack stand, and you don't even need to remove the underbody plastic panel, so it's quicker than an oil change. To verify this is the problem before you order the parts (which are about $100 for the x, as it's a different part altogether than the endlinks on the RWD sedans or coupes, so be careful when ordering), just remove the current endlinks and take a test drive - don't worry about removing the whole sway bar, just the links at the ends of the bar). If this is the case, you will not hear the clunking any more. I do not recommend driving like this for any distance, as the car will become tail happy and your sway bar ends could point towards the ground while left unsupported and become damaged.

I have a 98 s10 that rides rough when it gets up to speed like it needs wheel bearings, I pulled the bearings apart and they seem fine, but noticed that both sway bar links were broken. I'm not sure if...

the sway bar links need to be replaced, but would not cause a complaint like wheel bearings were bad. You checked the front? so what does the rear axle oil have to do with that? you sure its not tires? if the tires are wearing irregularly, they will make noise. the noise is either front or rear. Dont take anything apart unless you are certain thats where the noise is from. Wheel bearing noise will change pitch if you turn like you are changing lanes or will make noise while turning one way, then will be quiet the other way.

I have a 2005 Trailblazer. I have had the stalilizer bar replaced, new ball joints, greesed the fittings on the ball joints. New calipers, rotos and branke pade. HOWEVER, I still have a clunking sound...

They are really bad for the lower control arm bushings causing a clunk noise. You can't see movement by checking on a hoist, but lubing them will help only temporarily. I did a lot of them under warranty, but being 2005 I'm sure yours has expired. I' would highly recommend changing them to eliminate the clunk noise.

How much to change a oil pan gasket for 2001 grand prix 3.8 gt

If you want to repair the oil pan I would also check lower engine mount for leaking oil and cracks in anti sway bar near fitting's. This due to engine mount is oil filled. OEM sway bar is made of tubular steel and they crack easy. Replacement sway bar is solid steel. Here's the kicker. When they pull the lower frame to service oil pan. The engine mount and sway bar are attached to that frame. A honest mechanic should only charge for parts ($35 for mount and $100 for sway bar) and maybe a extra hour. My mechanic did all in 5 hours. FYI gasket is only $35 bucks. Good luck

How to change 1998 Plymouth grand Voyager front sway bars

unbolt the sway bar links from the control arms and the two brackets holding it to the frame. make sure if you jack it up jack up the front end. if you jack up one side and not the other and take the sway bar loose it will be loaded and could cause injury if not careful as long as both front tires are off the ground the sway bar will not be loaded and will be safe to deal with
