Did anyone check the blower motor for power and ground ?

To do it yourself, you really need a book. The procedure is to check the blower motor for power and ground, then work your way back to the control on the dash as needed.

Can it be the A/C Heater Blower Motor Resistor? I haven't checked that but I don't know where is located

Yes it could be the resistor, or the relay, or the blower motor, or the control on the dash. Or a wiring problem.

SOURCE: Heater blows out warm air on low but cold air on

Have you checked to see that you have antifreeze up to the proper level. That is always the first thing to check when cold air blows out the heater when you have the heat on.

My defrost blows but is not clearing out the window seems like blowing hot air out

The Lincoln has a cabin air filter which filters outside air. It is probably plugged therefore the heater can only recirculate the the air inside the car. The results are windshield may clear but most other windows away from the heat stay fogged up.
Try changing the cabin air filter and see if it helps a great deal.

Hot heat at idle cool when driving

is there a chance that one of your heater hoses are clogged? or where they connect to the engine are clogged still? sounds like a clogged system. Cracked heater housing? Outside air bypassing the heater coil while driving?

I have a 98 Bonneville, the heater/defroster is blowing out cold air. I drove around for 30 to 40 minutes checked the radiator and it was cold to the touch. could it be the thermostat

The dash gauges are notoriously inaccurate. But it is possible that the thermostat is stuck open. Does the upper radiator hose get hot after engine warmed up? Also feel both heater hoses-when engine is warm, both should be hot-indicating the coolant is circulating through the heater core. If heater hoses are hot, and you still have cold air, the temperature blend door on the heater case may not be operating.
Try a new thermostat and see if engine warms up faster and better.

No hot air

Sounds like the problem lies in the thermostat, When the engine thermostat fails to close fully, the engine coolant temperature may fall. Low engine temperature causes several problems and may cause the heater to blow cool air. Make sure about that.

Interesting symptoms. If the expansion reservoir was filled with icy slush, then your coolant/water ratio is way off. My first theory is that your cooling system needs a thorough flushing.

Heater cores can get blocked with rust (from the engine, when there's too little green coolant in the mix), as can the radiator.

The solution requires the cooling system to be drained. The heater hoses should be disconnected and back-flushed with a hose. Replace the radiator and heater hoses if they are soft and squishy or very rigid. Replace any hose clamps that need it.

Remove the thermostat and check it's not stuck open as this will cause the no-heat problem. Replace it if there's any doubt.

Put everything back together, fill with soft or distilled water, bring to operating temperature. Let it cool down, drain it to remove any remaining rust sludge, and refill again with the proper green coolant mix, which should be 50/50 to 60/40 depending on your area.

No hot air FROM HEATER inside 2000 318IA

Hi There, If the fan blows only cold air, then you might have a restriction on the heater core. The heater core is like a small radiator inside your dash. The coolant flow through it can be restricted by corrosion. The lack of flow of coolant through the heater core will result in a lack of warm air inside the car. Flushing out the heater core may help. If not, you will have to replace it. I would say though, 80% of the time the cause is just restriction. Get the heater core flushed and I am sure you will get your heat back. MIke

Have you checked the heater tap to see that it is working? If the heater tap is working you can undo the hoses at the firewall and use a garden hose to check that the water is flowing freely through both the heater radiator core and the engine.poke the garden hose up one of the hoses you removed and turn the water on make sure water is flowing freely out the other hose,if clear repeat test on heater radiator core.If heater core is blocked and you have compressed air you can gently flush the core by blowing the water through it.
