The valve itself is non-serviceable and the component must be replaced.

Sorry, that was supposed to say vapor lock, auto correct on a cell phone. How do you fix a vapor lock issue?

No that is not vapor lock, that doesn't happen on newer cars and trucks. Have you had it checked for fault codes?

This code indicates a leak in the fuel vapor system know as the evap system this can be caused by several things. a faulty purge valve, a vent valve, any one of the fuel vapor lines or even a gas cap that is lose or the seal is bad on gas cap. to isolate the exact problem requires a high end scan tool and a smoke machine to find the problem. on this vehicle the two most common problems are a gas cap, or a bad vent valve

Removal & Installation
To Remove:

1. Properly relieve the fuel system pressure.
   
2. Drain the fuel tank through the filler pipe.
   
3. Support the fuel tank.
   
4. Remove or disconnect the following:
   
   
   
   • Negative battery cable
     
   • Filler neck
     
   • Shield and tank straps
     
   • Fuel lines and vapor hose from pump and tank
     
   • Electrical connection from fuel pump
     
   • Fuel tank
     
   • Fuel pump/sending unit assembly by turning the locking ring (located on top
     of the fuel tank) counterclockwise using a spanner wrench
     
   • Fuel pump from the fuel lever sending device

To Install:

1. Install or connect the following:
   
   
   
   • Fuel pump in tank with new seal around opening
     
   • Tank and connect fuel lines and vapor hose
     
   • Tank to the frame
     
     
     
     1. Torque to: 33 ft. lbs. (45 Nm)
     
     
   • Shield
     
   • Fuel filler neck and clamp
     
   • Negative battery cable
   
   
2. Refill the tank.
   
3. Run the engine and check for leaks.

• Fuel pump from the fuel lever sending device
  

To install:
Install or connect the following:

• Fuel pump in tank with new seal around opening
  

NOTE The fuel pump strainer must be in a horizontal position when the fuel sender is installed in the tank. When installing the sender assembly, make sure that the fuel pump strainer does not block full travel of the float arm.

• Tank and connect fuel lines and vapor hose
  
• Tank to the frame. Torque the fasteners to 33 ft. lbs. (45 Nm).
  
• Shield
  
• Fuel filler neck and clamp
  
• Negative battery cable
  

1. Refill the tank.
   
2. Run the engine and check for leaks.

the most common problem is the plastic gaskets under the intake felpro makes a steel/rubber replacment

Vapor lock it sounds like.
you could try an electric fuel pump, but you should have fuel pressure regulator and pump and relay tested.

you have a short in the locking system.

My 1992 Chevy blazer s-10 starts and then the door locks automatically starts locking and unlocking...It wont stay running either...
