To find engine light warning you need an obd2 scanner. This tool can exactly tell your car problems. I will suggest to buy obd2 scanners to solve your car problems.

If you want to debug the problem yourself, the first thing to do is to buy a engine OBD2 scanner. When the code show up, you may see what is the problem using the OBD scanner and your cell phone, with the proper app (like Torque for Android).

Remember to check if you are buying a bluetooth OBD2 scanner, and your phone have bluetooth as well.

One more thing, the OBD2 connector on the Peugeot 307 is right behind the ashtray, remove it to have access to the OBD2 connector.

The most probable cause is the fuel intake, may be the fuel, a filter or even the electric gas pump. Just a OBD2 scanner will tell you accurately the cause of the problem.

Best Regards

Ow...that means your engine is with a serious problem, probably a electric one. =)

SOURCE: Couple of months ago would cut out when but start immediately

I have a 308 and the same problem, I would be driving along and the car would just shutdown....very dangerous. The service staff have told me that it is caused by poor quality fuel. Had the fuel filter changed and all seems ok for now, but this should not happen just because of bad fuel.

I experienced twice an orange engine oil pressure warning light and after the car wont move. I switched off the car and after ten minutes it moved. what is the problem

While an electrical fault or a faulty switch could put the light on, it is such an important light it should never be ignored and the reason for it established immediately. As far as the owner is concerned that means lifting the bonnet and checking the oil level and adding more if the level is low. If it isn't low the car should be recovered to a repair shop. Driving further could be very expensive and very inconvenient...

If the oil pressure light has switched on because the oil pressure is low then continuing to drive will soon wreck the crankshaft bearings or cause crankshaft or camshaft seizure. Damage happens so quickly if the oil pressure is lost at motorway speeds the engine is likely to be severely damaged by the time the car is stopped.

I strongly suggest you have the reason for the light switching on established and repaired.

The engine diagnostics warning light and electronic stability control system warning light are on - I had to drive about 2 miles on very low power to get off motorway

Possible air flow meter ??? Try disconnecting see if power resumes....ideally need to get put on a diagnostic machine to see what codes are stored

Oil pressure warning keeps coming on.

Without any more information I'm going to simply "spitball" an answer.

It COULD be oil starvation caused by high mile/kilometer sludge in the engine which slows the return of the oil to the pick up screen of the oil pump. Starving the oiling system.

It COULD be low oil level which would cause the oil pump to starve.

It COULD be a faulty sensor/sender causing the warning message.

Being you said "on the motorway" I'm simply guessing this is the only time the happens and NOT when driving at slower speeds/RPMs.

Hope this helps.

Honda civic 1.6 sport... Engine management light come on whilst driving on the motorway, and the car just died.. Had to come to a stop and restart the engine, drove another couple of miles, and it died...

you need to get someone with a obd reader to get the fault codes out of the engine controle module to help you sort that out it could be lots of things but sounds like a fuel delivery problem like fuel filter restricted or pump faulty

the flashing light it is a warning that something is not right and could cost you if you dont pay attention to it.take it to kia for a diagnostic test.to determine the problem it could be one of many problem.these cars are full of sensor units which pick up faults and transfers this to the computer which in turn alerts you there is a problem by flashing the warning light.

Emmision system service required with engine

I just had the same problem, which I also had in another car, a Jag XF, this can be related to too much town driving, and you may need to take half an hour of motorway or similar driving at higher speeds to clear the problem from the exhaust system, and the warning light.

A yellow circular arrow warning light has come on. What is it?

A yellow light containing an exclamation mark surrounded by a triangle, all surrounded by a curved arrow is the Automatic Stability Control warning light (ASC + Traction Control). If the light just flashes momentarily whilst driving it means that you have driven in a way that has triggered the ASC system to activate and protect you. If the light is on all the time it can mean that you have switched the system off. The switch for the ASC is one of the row of chrome switches just under the airconditioning controls. If you operate the switch and the light stays on, you have a faulty ASC system. OK to drive the car but be aware that the stability control will not save you from a skid. Have it looked at if you can't get the light to stay off.

Normal operation: Light on when you turn on the ignition, should go out after engine starts. Light flashes if you are driving hard on a slippery surface and the system is acting to stabilise the car.

Faulty: Light on all the time measn either you have turned the system off or there is a fault.

Glow light flashes

Correct - the glow light flashing is an indication that there is fault. Often this is associated with a blown brake bulb or faulty brake switch.
