2000 Plymouth Grand Voyager having issues starting

i would think that you need to look for a leak, there are rubber hoses attached to your steel lines under your van and in the engine compartment, as well as your fuel pump. start your van with the parking brake applied, and tires blocked, then you can trace your fuel lines out, just remember if you dont see a wet spot that doesnt mean theres no leak, your looking for dry rotted hose. what could be causeing a starting delay could be that its sucking air, and if your fuel pump is under the hood, then the fuel line going from the fuel tank to the front is a suction hose, if you have a fuel pump in the fuel tank the that line is a pressure hose. hope this helps

MY 1993 PLYMOUTH ACCLAIM SHAKES AND SHUTTERS WHEN I TAKE OFF FROM A LIGHT

Try a new fuel filter. If that doesn't work, have your fuel pump tested for proper pressure. Bad gas, injector partially clogged, bad fuel pressure regulator, bad idle valve, etc., etc. List is endless-gotta start somewhere>fuel filter and fuel pressure check. Also, have your engine computer checked for trouble codes-you need an OBD 1 scan. Walmart sells a code reader for around 25-30 dollars. Make sure it is the right one for your car. If any trouble codes come up, it should direct you to the problem. Good luck.

My car is using more gas than usual why?

1st , i would start the car up and make sure you don't have a fuel leak around the fuel tank area or where the fuel filter is, also how long has it been since the spark plugs have been replaced, and air filter, these items have a negative effect on fuel mileage.

Can I repair a fuel line leak with tape or any sort of sealant so that I can drive it to a shop? 1993 Oldsmobile Ciera

not sealant But get small length of rubber hose,,, small ,as in just larger than metal line then get two small screw band clamps cut the leak spot with bolt cutters QUICKLY insert hose on two ends of line with CLAMPS ALREADY ON HOSE screw them tight stop at service dest inform them of gas leak so they can take precautions.

they will ask fix or replace say FIX so they don't chage you $120 an hour shop time to bend fuel line hose to replace entire line... NOT necessary..old school repair if fine replace line is $$$ and not neccessary very little pressure in fuel line mostly gravity flow you may even say its more practical

How do I change the fuel pump on my 93 plymouth acclaim, p.s its a 4 cylinder

You will have to drop the gas tank, the fuel pump is sold as a complete pump and module and they are in the tank.

How to change fuel filter on 1993 plymouth acclaim. Where is the fuel filter located

The fuel filter on a '93 Plymouth Acclaim is located on the underside of the car. It will be on the passenger side roughly between the back seat and fuel tank area. It is held on to the frame of the car with a single bolt and a clamp.

Ran out of gas now won't start 1993 plymouth voyager

when u run out of gas this overheats the in tank electric fuel pump, if the pump is already worn by high miles and running below 1/4 tank of fuel then it fails, you will need to replace the in tank electric fuel pump.

1995 Plymouth Acclaim Won't Start

It is most likely the fuel pump. pouring gas down the throttle body will not start it, it will just flood it. try spraying a carb cleaner in the throttle body in short 1 or 2 second bursts while some one else cranks it, it should start.
