How to repair fuel line by the gas tank on a 1993

Sounds like a faulty fuel injector or leaking fuel pressure regulator.

The Fuel Filter is located: Under vehicle, passenger side, below seating area, passenger side of fuel tank, mounted on chassis in fuel line

You will have to drop the gas tank, the fuel pump is sold as a complete pump and module and they are in the tank.

The fuel filter on a '93 Plymouth Acclaim is located on the underside of the car. It will be on the passenger side roughly between the back seat and fuel tank area. It is held on to the frame of the car with a single bolt and a clamp.

that fuel pump is in the gas tank.

check to make sure hose clamps are tightened enough

Oh yes there is and there is a charcol canister up under the hood that captures the vapors if the canister is full you could smell fuel.
You will need a shop that has a SMOKE MACHINE to find the leak in the evaporative emissions plumbing from the tank to the engine compartment.

I was having the same problem with my 93 Acclaim. I needed to have the fuel sending unit in the gas tank replaced.

It is most likely the fuel pump. pouring gas down the throttle body will not start it, it will just flood it. try spraying a carb cleaner in the throttle body in short 1 or 2 second bursts while some one else cranks it, it should start.
