2002 honda crv fuel gauge moves really slow.

My fuel gauge is really slow to show a ''full tank'' or anything else. After filling my tank from 1/4 tank to FULL, the fuel gauge takes about1 hour to show up full. My other vehicles fuel gauges move right away after filling-up. Do you think it's a faulty gas cap?. Or a sticky fuel float in my tank?.

My fuel gauge has been broken for years, the dealer fixed it twice when it was under warranty. I can never tell how much gas I have so I track my miles and when I drive 150 to 180 I fill up my tank. I anyone knows how I can fix this without going to the dealer I would love to no.

I had the same problem. My battery was going bad. When I replaced it with a new one, the fuel gauge worked fine.

I have diesel in my 2010 honda crv. how can i remove it?

drain the tank
place a container under the vehicle and pull the hose from the fuel pump at the filter inlet and place the end in the container
turn on the ignition and let the pump fill the container
when the container is full , empty into another container with a lid
repeat the process until the gauge shows the low fuel light comes on
Now refill the tank with the correct fuel

Fuel gauge stays on full

Sounds like you have a bad sending unit in your gas tank. You will need to take it to a mechanic to get checked. This isn't really a do it yourself type repair since it involves removing the gas tank.

2003 Honda crv fuel gauge doesn't register full when filling up tank also twice while driving the gauge goes to empty and fuel light comes on

Could be the sending unit in the tank or the gauge on the dash.
A mechanic would test each component by disconnecting the harness at the tank.

2003 Honda crv fuel gauge doesn't register full when filling up also twice while driving the fuel gauge will go down to empty and the fuel light will turn on

You don't mention the year and model of your car, so generally speaking it is probably the fuel sender inside your fuel tank. This can be checked by lifting out the sender unit and testing it's resistance with a VOM meter.

Town and Country Van running out of gas and guage says half a tank what could be the problem?

If your fuel gauge is showing you in accurate readings this is normal to all vehicles that are not used to fill-up gas full regularly but sometimes the cause of the inacuracy is due to faulty float valve in the gas tank you need to replace it

Fuel gauge is not reading properly 2006 Mercury Mountaineer

Fuel gauges are not meant to be precision instruments. You might want to fill up a 2 gallon can and drive the car until it runs out of fuel to see how low the gauge will go before it's really empty. Use the 2 gallons to get back to a filling station.
I once spent three working days trying to get a 1972 Chrysler to read full when it's full, half when it's half and quarter tank when the tank has a quarter amount of fuel. The customer did not want to accept anything else, but in the end all I did was to get close, not exact.
It is possible that the fuel float in the gas tank is "drowned", that is, the plastic float might have a slow leak and some fuel found its way inside. This will cause the float to submerge slightly and give you a low reading. To check this you will have to remove the float unit from the tank.
In any case, if you feel up the job (not easy) remove the float unit from the tank and manually move it up and down while checking the meter reading. You can bend the wire holding the float to correct misreadings.
Personally, I wouldn't bother, just be aware that when the reading is low, feel safe that you still have enough fuel to get to the next filling station.

If you remove the sending unit in the gas tank, move it manually by hand as u saw done earlier, the gauge on the dash should also move. As long as the sending unit in the tank isn't 'stuck' at the half full level, the gauge should register empty to full as it moves. To be honest, I'm not sure if I would bother taking the sending unit out. 1st, u must be very careful not to blow yourself up when working on the gas tank (no sparks, etc), all u really need to do is fill up your car, see how many miles a tank of gas will go (carry a can of gas with u to see how many miles before u run out). If it's 350 miles, just set the trip gauge to zero every time u fill up, and get gas every 300 miles so u don't run out. If the sending unit moves freely, everything (wiring ) is connected properly, then it probably is the fuel gauge. good luck!
