How do you reset the service mileage light on a 2006 Range Rover Sport HSE?

NOTE: These instructions apply to vehicles that are currently due a scheduled service. Manual resetting of the service interval indicator may not be possible if the time or distance covered is outside the programmed parameters of the vehicle. In this case, it may be necessary to use manufacturer's or equivalent diagnostic equipment.
Switch ignition OFF. Press and hold button [A] 106127. Turn ignition key to position II. NOTE: If the service interval indicator function is not programmed the normal odometer and trip information will be displayed. The message "SERVICE" will flash for 5 seconds and then be permanently displayed. Release button [A] within 10 seconds to display "DIST". Within 10 seconds press and hold button [A] for at least 6 seconds. The message "RST" will be displayed for 5 seconds followed by "END". Release button [A]. Wait 10 seconds. Switch ignition OFF.
