Wiring diagram I just bought a used van from a private seller and when I received the van the entire dashboard is malfunctioning. including the radio. I lifted the carpet on the driver side and found the main wires from the power distribution center isn't even connected. I need to find out where it is supposed to b connected.

Pull it back out, (Radio) and recheck your steps. Something is not hooked up right. When you pull it back out, See if it goes back working normal. Retrack the wires. You cut are hook up something wrong????

Is there green corosion on the tip of the wire ? Chances are the answer is yes. You will have to detach the fuse panel/box and run a new wire and connector to the fuse panel. Splice into the wire you can see, but make sur you cut enough of the wire off to get rid of the corrosion.Hope this helps.

Hello Greg. Almost definitely you have a poor ground in the rear of your van due to corrosion. Get under the van in the problem area and trace the ground wire to the frame. Generally you will find that the area is corroded. Unscrew or unbolt the ground wire and remove the crud with a piece of emery cloth. clean up both the end of the ground wire and the frame itself, get it all down to bare metal. Then reassemble. regards, Joe
