Question about Cars & Trucks
Posted by Anonymous on
Need to find brake light fuse location. It isn't in the fusebox under the hood. I looked everywhere in the cabin except where it apparently is. The brake lights come on all the time and drain the battery.Even after changing the pedal pad and verifying the brake light switch plunger is all the way in the brake lights remain on. I need to pull the fuse so I can at least move the car and not have to leave the negative terminal disconnected.

The procedure goes like this. First get in the car and lock all the doors. Secondly insert and remove the key repeatedly until the turn signal indicators on the dash flash twice simultaneously, it should be like seven or eight times. Then turn the key on and press the lock button on the remote and the lights should flash again. After that turn the key off and manually unlock and open the drivers door, then shut it. Wait a few seconds then try the remote.
