I removed shaker radio/cd, replaced it with a quality radio no cd changer. no more drained battery problems. mustang runs mighty fine, pop in the ipod or listen to satellite radio
Shame on Ford, they know about the problems Mustang owners
mustang owners experienced due to defective shaker radio/cd
cd's and recalled them and replaced them with ones that aren't defective.

SOURCE: battery goes dead overnight
its a short in the radio most likely you still have a factory warrenty so i would take it there and explain your problem to them they should be able to fix it..
SOURCE: shaker 500 stereo
I have the exact same problem with my 05 shaker 500--okay that's 3 of us. We need a recall and a free new stereo system with labor included
SOURCE: Car will not start after I pulled the fuse for my radio
Thats because on the G6 your entire control center and brain of your car is ran through your radio. Without the fuse to your radio, there is no current getting to the controllers for the G6's quick click auto start feature. The G6 does not use a regular starter cylinoid like most cars older than 2004-2005. The controlling signal of starting your car when you click your key over for that split second is run through systems housed and integrated in the radio.

SOURCE: 06 silverado blower fan won`t shut off finally killed battery
The connection at the blower resistor on these model years had problems with poor connections.
The increased resistance on the terminals caused them to heat up and burn. Some would go open circuit and not work at all and some would short to ground and run all the time, like yours.
As you have already discovered, you will need to replace the pieces.
