Open your glove box. It is just inside the panel on the left top area.

I am so sorry. I just rechecked. Your valet switch is a keyhole next to your trunk release.

Can I use 5W-30 Synthetic engine oil for my 2008 Honda Accord

I don't see how that would be a problem - - keep in mind if you switch from regular to synthetic you need to stay with it.

Accidentally reversed the battery cables on my 98 honda accord 4cyl. 2.3l. I already replaced the main 100 amp fuse, replaced the main relay, replaced battery , and had alternator tested and its good. it...

If your car came with the Prestige Alarm unit, there is a possibility that the alarm box got deprogrammed or burned, and left the anti-theft activated. Use the Valet Switch to deactivate the alarm permanently, and see if the car starts. For some reason unknown to me, it takes a couple of cycles of crank/ take the ignition switch off, crank again for the Valet Switch to work. In my 98 Accord, this micro-switch is installed in the left front kicker panel, but there is no guarantee that it will be in the same place in you accord, since it is a dealer installed option

I believe that the alarm system in the car is draining the battery also causing the car not to start.....I want to disconnect the alarm system or disarm it but cannot locate the valet switch...my friend...

This sounds like a factory alarm, so it is unlikely that it is draining the battery. Much more common is alternator diodes. diagnosis is pretty easy for a shop, consider using one for this issue.

Where is the Alarm Valet Switch on a 1997 Honda Accord LX. The alarm was installed prior to purchase of the new car in 1997, but came with a separate manual. The Manual has no info about who designed, or...

it SHOULD be installed on the left kick panel where your left foot would hit if you were driving it. if not pull that panel off and look there the installer might have had a lazy day or left his drill at home but its there somewhere

Where is the valet switch for honda accord 2002 lx?

Hi,
Does the vehicle have an aftermarket alarm system? Is the valet switch for this what you are looking for? If so, it depends entirely on who installed it as where they have put it, although it's usually under the dash on the driver’s side. Some alarms have different sequences that you have to go through to put the alarm into valet mode; it's not usually just a switch that you flick. Best to pop into an alarm or stereo installer and see if they can spot it for you, or if the car is immobilized, find out what sort of alarm it is and call an installer for the info on the valet procedure.

Thank You for contacting Fixya.com

I can't find the valet switch on my 2001 Honda Accord

Look under dash above brake pedal......it should be mounted there. Or in some rare cases can be taped into wire harness .....not on lower edge of dash.

Where is the valet switch on a 1999 honda accord?

Your Grey key is the valet key.

The Grey key will not open the glove compartment nor the trunk, BUT you have to lock the back shelf and remote trunk release handle in the car, and the glove compartment with the black key first.
