With a new fuse try putting rear windows down one at a time, Than front one at a time if the fuse only blows with one window. The window that blows the fuse has a bad motor if it blows with any window it is a switch or wireing problem. If this was helpful please leave good feed back

Power windows on 02 Buick Century stopped working.

If all the windows stopped working then you probably popped a fuse. The fuse should be in the fuse box and you would look in the Owners manual for the location of the particular fuse for the function.

If your windows were frozen or even a light frost causing a drag on the motor, you could ruin a fuse. They are not expensive. Now if the windows were being operated in above freezing temperatures, then a window motor may have gone bad or a part called a "window regulator" has jammed and overloaded the fuse.

A glass Repair shop regularly makes these types of repairs. If the window motor is bad, you will repeatively pop fuses. To replace the "window regulator" or the window motor requires removing the inner door panel to get at the parts.

If the windows were operated in a frozen state, then replace the fuse and do not use the windows until they are cleared off. One a particular door is identified as containing the defective parts, then it only takes about an hour to replace the bad stuff. Many times a Glass shop will have a nice waiting area and dropping off the car is not necessary.

I hope my Solution is helpful to you.

Power windows quit replaced fuse under hood replaced fuse inside still have no power windows

#1 so many people make the mistake of pressing the window lock switch on the drivers master window switch, double check to be sure it is not engaged. If that is not the problem you can pop the master switch out with a small flat tipped screw driver & check for power with a test light. If power is going to the switch & the windows still won't work, replace the master switch. good luck

2002 explorer power window fuse where

In the battery Junction Box check fuse # 6-60AMP will feed Central Junction Box (under driver side), the inline circuit breaker #47-30AMP, through the Accessory Delay Relay, powered by fuse #17-15AMP to the Window Control Circuit. Check the fuses, and for 12v at the points. Then check for 12v at the driver side door switch pannel.

Also uou should check the plug into the main window button console in your drivers door. The little piece of plastic around the door handle pops out when pushed towards the front of the vehicle. This gives you access to the buttons and harnesses.

Good luck (remember rated this help).

Driver's side window doesn't work. I'm not sure if it's a switch or is there a lone fuse that might have popped?

1 fuse works all windows so if you have 1 window working it is not the fuse may be a bad motor check for power and ground at motor while working switch if you have that then the motor is bad

Cant get any of the power windows to work

HI.IN YOUR CAR THERE IS A FUSE AND A WINDOW RELAY. IT COULD BE ANYONE OF THESE. NOW IF YOU HAVE A TEST LIGHT, POP THE HOOD AND ON ONE OF THE INNER FENDERS THERE WILL BE A FUSE BOX, YOU WILL KNOW IT WHEN YOU SEE IT. POP OFF THE COVER AND LOOK ON THE INSIDE OF THE COVER AND IT WILL TELL YOU WHERE EVERYTHING IS. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU. JIMBO

Both windows are screwed! What can I do to troubleshoot it? ...Please..? :)

Probably popped a fuse. Check in the engine compartment in the power control center (big fuse and relay box). Look at the diagram and find the one for power windows.

Window problems

How many windows will not roll up? Do they roll up from the individual door switches or are they totally dead? Did you have the driver's door panel off, and if so, did you remember to plug the master window switch back in?
The fuses for the power windows are in the underhood fuse box. Each window has it's own fuse. I would start by checking those.
