My 1999 Honda Accord has a moonroof visor that squeaks and is loose. I have tried tightening the bolts that attach to the visor itself, but have discovered that the U hooks that attach the visor to my moonroof are loose. How can those be tightened if any? I'm so tired of it making noise, and have tried wd-40.

This is a re-post from what I told someone else:
I took mine in expecting to have it repaired and it turns out that it was just the screws along the left and right-hand side of the panel. They were loose. The guy told me that "it eventually happens" and that "it's only a matter of time". He went on to say that "it shouldn't happen again". So, check the screws on either side of the panel right where it's stopping. I suspect that this is prohibiting yours from closing as well.

Testimonial: "Thanks for your answer. 159ft-lbs seems a bit high. I only say this because 1990 Honda Integra 1.8L is 130ft-lbs. Maybe because of bigger engine."
SOURCE: how do i tighten belts on 1997 honda accord?
to tighten the thin belt, loosen the top and then the bottom nuts that go through to the frame. The turn the bolt on top, the closest to the front of the car, clockwise. Then tighten both through bolts up. For the thick belt, loosen the through bolt on the alternator, then turn the long bolt at the bottom, front of car, of alternator clockwise.
