Factory reset I replaced the battery on my nissan primera sve 2002 (not listed below so chose the pathfinder) and since then the sunroof does not work, i have been told that it may need a factory reset? regards Ray

    I think you misunderstood, the battery needed replacing! which I did, since replacing it the sunroof has not worked.

The problem is that your sunroof is operated by a PCB which contains computerized programmed IC.  This problem is not with battery.  You might have been operating your sunroof when your battery was down.  The programming of IC has been disturbed.  Take that PCB to the service centre.

Always operate your power windows/side mirror/ sunroofs when your car is start because these power stuffs have high rated motors.

When the car is start it's load is on genrator/dinamo therefore it does n't have any effect on battery.

    It's all right.  I understood that you have changed your battery.

    But the programming of your's sunroof PCB has been disturbed. So you have to get it reprogrammed or refreshed from the Nissan Service Centre.

My radio in 2002 primera p12 is stuck on phone mode -no radio-
reset the radio in MENU, or disasembly or disconnect the battery from ground wait by 45 seconds and reconnect again.
However you must go to the company supplier for retest the radio for to see if there are component faulty, or connection loose.

On my Nissan Primera sve 2002 the display screen does not work
The most likely cause of most problems electrics on that model is the poor earth connection on the rear light cluster. There is a simple fix which you can find on the nissan primera owners club website. www.npoc.co.uk. The fix is easy to do and involves putting another earth from the rear cluster to the bodywork where there is an existing bolt. It solved my issues.
