take it to autozone or advanceautoparts and ask them to put their scanner on it and pull up the codes that are tripping that light. they will then pull them up on their computer to let you know a broad idea of what is tripping the codes
roots are flashed into the PCM, (Factory Alarm) but if you can locate the main module, you can unplug the harness feeding it. but other componets may be routed thorough it also be careful. and most likely will end up unsuccessful
