Fuses and relays. It could also be the switch is faulty. Does it keep cranking. or just the lights come on ready to start? In which case, check the ignition switch.

How can I replace the ignition relay module?

There are some steps to follow to replace the ignition:
Step 1: Disconnect the vehicle's battery.
Step 2: Remove the steering column cover bolts.
Step 3: Remove any additional dashboard cover.
Step 4: Locate the ignition relay.
Step 5: Remove the electrical harnesses.
Step 6: Remove the ignition relay.
Step 7: Reinstall the new ignition relay.
Step 8: Reconnect the battery terminals.
Step 9: Clear error codes with a scan tool.
Step 10: Test the new relay.

I have a 2006 chevy uplander when shut off no start batt dead and ignition fuse in bjb replace fuse and still no start or crank no power to cluster cluster dead on commute back

It was blown an you replaced it or you just replaced it ???? When you shut it off no restart ,the battery was dead ? Test battery , battery cable connections , charging system - is it charging ?
First off your probably unaware of how this vehicle works , This vehicle is powered up by the BCM turning on relays an sending commands over the serial data bus (network) ,do you know what that is ? The ignition switch is a low voltage input to the BCM .
Circuit Description (Key Start)
For ignition switch power modes refer to Body Control System Description and Operation . When the ignition switch is placed in the Start position a discrete signal is supplied to the body control module (BCM) notifying it that the ignition is in the Start position. The BCM then sends a message to the powertrain control module (PCM)/engine control module (ECM) notifying it that CRANK has been requested. At the same time the BCM is supplying 12 volts for the IGN 1 relay closing it and supplying battery positive voltage for the crank relay coil. The PCM/ECM verifies that the transmission is in Park or Neutral. If it is, the PCM/ECM grounds the control circuit of the crank relay. When this occurs battery positive voltage is supplied through the switch side of the crank relay to the S terminal of the starter solenoid.

Check the Ignition 1 relay -
Relay Controlled Power Mode
The body control module (BCM) uses the discrete ignition switch inputs ignition 1, ignition 3 and crank to distinguish the correct power mode. Once the BCM has determined the power mode selected by the vehicle operator it will energize the Ignition relay, Run relay and retained accessory power (RAP) relay, depending on which power mode is selected.
Ignition 1 Relay
The relay uses a Hot At All Times B+ power source derived from the underhood electrical center. The ignition 1 relay supplies a power signal to the following circuits when the Run or Crank power mode is selected:
• AC clutch relay
• ABS STG angle sensor
• Antilock brake system (ABS) yaw sensor
• Auxiliary power drop connector
• Crank relay
• Cruse control switch
• Electronic brake control module (EBCM)
• Engine control module (ECM)
• HVAC module
• Ignition control module (ICM)
• Instrument panel cluster (IPC)
• Sensing and diagnostic module (SDM)
• Transmission solenoid circuit

DTC P1682: Ignition 1 Switch Circuit 2

Circuit/System Description
There are 2 ignition 1 voltage circuits supplied to the engine control module (ECM). The first ignition 1 voltage circuit is provided by the powertrain relay, through a fuse. This ignition 1 voltage circuit supplies power to all the internal ECM circuits associated with the throttle actuator control (TAC) operation. The ignition main relay provides the second ignition 1 voltage circuit to the ECM, through a fuse. This ignition 1 voltage provides power to other internal ECM circuits, except those associated with TAC operation. The ECM continuously monitors the voltage level difference between the two circuits.

Circuit/System Testing
Ignition ON, observe the Ignition 1 Signal and EC Ignition Relay Feedback scan tool parameters to determine which is less than B+.
Ignition OFF, remove the relay that corresponds to the scan tool parameter that is less than B+.
Important: 6 ohms or greater in the circuit/underhood fuse block will cause the DTC to set.
Ignition On, connect a 3A fused jumper wire between B+ and the applicable ignition 1 circuit terminal. Verify that the applicable scan tool parameter displays B+.
? If the applicable scan tool parameter is less than the specified value, test the ignition 1 circuit for an open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the ECM.
If all circuits test normal, test or replace the applicable relay.

No power to ems relay,ignition amplifier,or ignition coil . fully charged battery with 12.66 volts coming out of ignition on relay

Check the power at the relay at right front fuse box if no power check back wire as it runs to the relays beside the radiator.

92 subaru loyale new distributor and coil still no spark

Had the exact same problem and went through the whole dance. Traced problem to relay under the dash , combination ignition/fuel pump relay. The relay was "clicking" but was internally bad, it would not engage circuit for the ignition. Power was indicated at coil and fuel pump would run but the circuit was not complete through the computer to power the ignition sensor in the distributor. I actually had to "gang" 2- 12 vdc coil automotive relays to replace the original relay. Caution... if you decide to gang 2 relays be sure to separate the two circuits, one relay for ignition, one for fuel pump and tie the coil wires together.

Finding ignition relay

Ignition relay .... There are 2 types of ignition. (1) the ignition key (2) the ignition system that delievers spark to the spark plugs. Why do you need ther relay ?? Does the car not crank over ?? Or does the car crank over and don't start ?? I can help .... but I need more info. please.

2007 toyota camry pcm ignition relay what does it look like and where is it located

okay the ignition has a few relays, the relay looks like a relay but there is one relay called the # 1 ignition relay located in the inside fuse relay box on the driverside and then a #2 ignition relay located in the engine compartment relay box.

I can tell you that i have never seen these relays cause a problem as long as i have been working on them. what is the problem with the car and what size engine do you have?

I can tell you that toyota had big problems with the computers in the 2007 toyotas and most where in a recall program and were being replaced for free, the problem with these was driving problems also dieing out while driving and then no starts.
