Only lever i find is to move seat forward or backwards but how can i adjust the back of the seat so im not slanted so far back as i am not some rap star haha
At the front of your seat(left side for the driver seat & right side for the passenger seat)rite at the curved corner in front of the seat beside your knees, the cloth seat has a hard plastic corner guard over the top directly in the middle of the corner in the front of the seat, and smack in the center is a up & down switch similar to that of the back seat window switch. it is well hidden & I had to have my head down there to discover it in the year2010, on a 1996 auto. the previous owner of the car did not believe me.

"Olds Aurora seat wont adjust" ..... I have same issue with a 1998 and I found out when I opened the driver side door and wiggle the black acordian-like harness that covers the wires between the door and the dash the seats will move. There is no doubt a break or short in the wiring running through this harness.

Power seat movement is controlled by numerous small motors underneath the seat.
Front and back movement is often actuated through a motor on one side that connect to a rod (with some type of gear on the end of it) that runs to the other side. This rod can get out of position, or possibly something can go wrong in the gear.
You'll likely have to remove the seat to diagnose the problem.

The seat is programmable to each keyless remote that comes with the car. If the car has the same features as mine, when sitting in the drivers seat and you look on the drivers side door there are two buttons labeled with a 1 and a 2 and if you adjust the seat to how you want it with the car on and then press either one of those buttons and hold it down until it beeps it will then set the seat to one of the two keyless remotes which each have a 1 or 2 engraved into the plastic back of the remote. Then every time you unlock the door the seat automatically readjusts to wherever it was set when one of those buttons was pushed to save the setting.
Testimonial: "Very good information. Now my daughter can get in the car without having to always re-adjust the seat. Thanks for the information."
