go to any parts store or even walmart and purchase an OBD 11 code reader they are only about 50 to 60 dollars and you can use it on all 1996 and newer vehicles make sure if you buy one it will also erase codes
The camshaft is driven by the crankshaft by either a belt or chain. These have to stay in line or in (time ) with each other, If not the engine may not run correctly, if at all or worse can break stuff. In case you dont know, the crankshaft pushes the pistons up and down and the camshaft opens the valves so gas can go in and exhaust out. ( very simplified )
I would get an adapter harness that will plug into your existing vehicle plug, and the wires are color coded to match up to most aftermarket stereos. You could check e-Bay, or a local automotive audio store for the adapter harness.
Abs light on means the ABS sytem has a fault.
You can determine what is wrong by counting the flashes (they say) and then put the data in on the web.
IE abs, windstar, failure, 3 flashes.
The brake light on is most likely picking up on uneven brake pressure, or a failing master cylinder/
You may not feel any difference yet, give it a little time, feel for a pedal fade at a light.
