After taking my truck for a long distance drive off road, when I stop, the radiator keeps overflowing through the overflow reservoir.

Hello shotmaker25...If you put Bars Leak in the cooling system and it plugged a hole in the radiator it's also plugging the the cores inside to some degree... A radiator shop should be able to diagnose a clog, if it exists. The rad can be removed and flow tested. A shop that has a hydrocarbon sniffer can also detect if combustion gasses are getting into the cooling system with a probe...The cooling system must be bleed and purged..if air is trapped in the system, your altima will overheat..If the catalytic converter is plugged, it will overheat... Make sure the cooling fans are working..they should cycle off and on.
Good luck...i hope this helps...please rate me a fixya.

If the air mass sensor gets coated with foam from the PVC, then it won't increase the gas supply when you open the throttle, because the foam insulated the heat element in the sensor.
Just take it off and clean it will any sort of degreasing spray, then put it back on. At this age, you should probably consider splicing a condenser into the PVC hose, to take out oil and water vapors.
If that does not work, it could be the temperature sensor or O2 sensor. When sensors go bad, they usually go to 0 or infinite ohms with an ohmmeter.

Hi this is really bad, first thing the overheating may have warped the head on the motor so i would get that checked by a pro before you do anything including starting it as it will do even more damage, second the water leaking near water pump will be from the gasket which would have blown out/split from the pressure which also maybe why water has ended up in your airbox, third the oil on the road can really only leak from the engine so the block maybe cracked too.
The best solution would be take to a pro and get an assessment but i wouldnt be suprised if the motor needs a lot of repair work im sorry to say hope this helps

check timing make sure it;s ok . second check your exhaust system if it;s close , start accilerate for 3 min. then look all exhaust pipe (silencer) if there is difrent coler . check Oxgen sensor it;s ok .
and if you have no enough fuel presure try close the return line temporary . maf, sensor only when there it is highand low accilerator.

If the coolant was hot when you noticed water coming out the radiator, that is normal from the heat expansion of the coolant. That is why there are coolant overflow tanks-also called coolant expansion tanks.
When refilling coolant, always top up the radiator, and fill the overflow tank to at least the cold mark level (about half-way up on the tank). With cap off, run engine till the thermostat opens- upper radiator hose will become hot-then shut off engine, add coolant to radiator as needed, replace cap. This method of filling will help to expel any trapped air in the system. Oh, and remember to set your heater controls on high when filling coolant, so the heater core and lines also circulate and expel air.
Check the seal on the radiator cap that it is still good. The cap seal is important to seal the coolant system, as it is a closed system under about 15 psi of pressure. The reason to pressurize the system is that the pressure will raise the boiling point of the coolant by about 10 degrees- important when you consider how hot the coolant has to be when running. OK, enough tutorial-I don't think you have a problem with the water pump! G'd luck, reeve.
