Should be on the bottom end, u cpould take the hose pipe off instead. When refilling make sure u have the heater open so that u have a complete flow thru all the engine and no air bubbles. Don't forget the coolant. cheers
No Code Reader or Scan Tool ,was OBD1 Vehicles, from 1983 thru 1995
1996 thru 2013, you need a code reader & keep in mind there about 900 codes on any veh & a code reader will only see Generic ones, those being PO Codes
You need a professional scan tool or note book software to access most of the systems
Also you can have big problems that the codes don't lead you to or help you.
A code reader is a must for at home & are only about $60.00 BUT--you really need hundreds of dollars in factory service & mostly diagnostic manuasl or you can keep the hood closed
If you don't continually educate yoursel,f you won't be able to do a thing on todays technology.
Helm.Com has your maunals I have purchased them for every veh since 1965 some 47 yrs
open up the air intake where the choke is and stray intake cleaner int here and work the flap. then move into the fuel system. also i remember correctly the gas gauge is on a fuse check for blown fuse.
The next one you buy will have issues,
& so on, the rest of your life, so I don't see
where your going here
If you don't care for it or it doesn't fill your
needs & need something different, that is one thing
My answer is --- are you all in cash & no debt whatsoever,
anywhere? No mortgage, nothing & lots of speculative cash
you can afford to loose? If so buy a different vehicle
You are going to have more problems with all vehicles you
will ever own,at least once a year, with todays technology,
that is a given
Hello: Under the hood at the back there is a cover, remove it. There are relays. I think the A/C clutch relay is the first one toward the passenger side. It should have 4 wires, black, orange, solid green, and green with a white stripe. The relay is controlled by the engine computer. Provide a ground to the black wire and see if the compressor clutch works.
Someone might give you a pic, but you should really buy a manual for this. there is a lot of important info on doing a timing belt. If not done right you can trash an engine. I get a manual everytime if I don't already have one. $25.00 is a good investment.
