I have a 2005 Grand Caravan 3.8L.After experiencing a misfire and retrieving a DTC for CYL # 4 injector circuit malfunction, I replaced the injector harness with a used one and changed injector # 4. I still got the same DTC and the engine still misfired. I repaired the original injector wire harness and still got the same malfunctions. A mechanic friend at the Dealer told me it might be the PCM. I agree, but I did not check for an injector pulse. I went online and it seems that this is a common injector harness complaint. Could a malfunctioning PCM have caused the injector wire harness to fry in the first place? I went online to Rock Auto to try to get a price on a rebuilt unit- no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks.

P0203 - Injector Circuit Malfunction Cylinder 3

Powertrain Control Module (PCM) or Electronic Control Module (ECM) checks the injectors circuit resistance and monitors the voltage drop during normal operation. The PCM/ECM will trigger the P0203 code when the resistance or voltage drop at the injector #3 is out of specifications.

Causes:
- Open or shorted wiring harness to the injector #3
- Bad injector #3
- Bad PCM/ECM

Solutions:
- If damage, repair injector wire harness or connector
- Replace injector
- Replace PCM or ECM

P0300 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected

When a misfire occurs, engine speed will fluctuate. If the engine speed fluctuates enough to cause the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor (POS) signal to vary, Powertrain Control Module (PCM) or Electronic Control Module (ECM) can determine that a misfire is occurring.

You may be biting off more then you want to chew.
P0113 is intake air temperature circuit high input.
P0201 is injector circuit malfunction cyl.#1.
P0204 is injector circuit malfunction cyl.#4.
P0300 is random - multiple misfire detected.
There isn't just one reason why these codes came up. A scan-tool is needed to confirm live data and to run some tests to see if these codes are true. some codes come up because something else has malfunctioned.
The intake temp sensor sould be inside the MAF sensor.
You may have more questions, please ask away.

Firts time swap spark plug & ignition coil between two different cylinders and read again if the same #2 cyl. misfires !
If #2 cyl. is OK and another cyl. misfires then spark plug or ignition coil is out of order and must be replaced.
If #2 cyl. misfires again then #2 injector must be checked !
If ignition coils & spark plugs (complete set for 6 cyl.) are replaced then you must check #2 injector !

It could very well be a bad coil pack,or you have low compression in that cylinder.If the compression is good then go with the coil pack,if not you may need a head gasket or an intake manifold gasket.
