I went to town about a month ago and it ran fine until when i was driving my clutch started to be hard to put into gear. i could get it into gear if i shifted absolutely perfect. it also died in traffic twice within 15 minutes. i kept driving thinking it would work itself out. i parked at the movies for 2 hours and when i got back to the car the starter wouldn't even click and now i cant start it at all. ive already replaced the clutch sensor and it still wont even recognize i have the clutch engaged. i just have no idea whats wrong with it

There a lot of cuses for this but you need to scan the vehicule before to know what sensor is having troubles, if is too much expensive the scan in your city consider to buy one. I see in ebay a lot of types of OBD2 scanners for $25-30!

ok when the check engine light comes on that usually indicates a engine malfunction...what you can do is go to your local autozone and they can do an OBDII test for free..my bet says it is the cam or crank sensor.. DO NOT SHUT THE CAR OFF AT AUTOZONE..LOL

check to see if you have fuel pressure after it dies. fuel pump could be getting hot and shutting off.

Seems to me it's the engine coolant temperature sensor or the connecting wire to it. Some Model/Year (MY) hyundai's have TWO (2) temperature sensors.. one for the instrument panel/gauge, the other strictly used by the ECU (Engine Control Unit)... if this sensor goes bad, it sends the wrong data/signal to the ECU and this can affect engine performance.
