All you have to do is carry it to your dealer and have them install there IDS scan tool and access programmable parameters in the smart junction box and turn on the feature.

SOME 2006-2008 EXPLORER 4DR/MOUNTAINEER, AND 2007-2008 EXPLORER SPORT TRAC VEHICLES MAY HAVE CUSTOMERS THAT DESIRE TO ACTIVATE OR DEACTIVATE THE DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS (DRL). THE FEATURE HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE IDS AND PDS SCAN TOOLS AS A PROGRAMMABLE PARAMETER. THE PROCEDURE IS TO: SELECT MODULE PROGRAMMING FROM TOOLBOX, SELECT PROGRAMMABLE PARAMETERS, EXTERIOR LIGHTS. DRL WILL BE ONE OF THE SELECTIONS WITH ENABLE/DISABLE AS OPTIONS. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A WARRANTABLE REPAIR.
