Check your oil level and see if it's low. Sometimes you're a quart low and it will cause your sensor to set the oil light. If the oil level is ok then it may be your oil level sensor.

Get it scanned for errors. The VSS or the speed sender unit may be damaged or not seated/fitted correctly.

Check the brake switch. A Chilton book will tell you where it is.

Forgive me if I seem to be over simplifying, but have you have you tried rotating the knob to left of the steering wheel (below the a/c vent)? If you rotate it all the way clockwise, it 'clicks' and the dome lamp comes on. Rotate counterclockwise and the dome lamp goes off and you adjust the brightness of the interior lights.
