Hooked my 2007 Sprinter camping trailer to the factory lights/brakes hook-up located below bumper of my 2005 Silverado 4x4 extended cab truck. Everything works fine except for the right trailer turn signal and right trailer brake light. The tech who hooked up my light/brakes where I bought the trailer told me it is a problem with the truck wiring.

Is this a 4 way or 6 way connection system? If your truck is wrong, then all factory equipped trailer package harnesses would be wrong, tell your trailer guy...I don't think so.
Is this the first trailer you have hauled?
Let me know, and we will go from there.

Have a 1994 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 1500 with wiring problems. The original problem was a brake light out on the drivers side. I changed the tail light plugs. With head lights off I had brake lights with head...

Your truck may have had the factory trailer tow package, but that did not come with a wiring connector in that year. There should be a wire harness under the rear of the truck near the center of the bumper with 7 wires of the following colors/characteristics -

Red/Orange - +12V Battery (Thick Wire) From fuse #8 (40A)
Black/Orange - Tail Markers (Thick Wire)
Light Blue - Trailer Brakes (Thick Wire)
Violet/Black - Backup Lights (Thin Wire)
Dark Green/Red - Left Stop/Turn - (Thin Wire)
Brown/Red - Right Stop/Turn - (Thin Wire)
Black - Ground - (Thick Wire)

Under the dash, the brake controller wiring should be -

Red/Orange - +12V Battery (Thick Wire) From fuse #8 (40A)
Black/Orange - Ground - (Thick Wire)
Light Blue - Trailer Brakes (Thick Wire)
White/Tan - Brake Light sense - (Thin Wire)

Hope this helps.

I have a 2009 silverado 4x4 that when hooked to my horse trailer the running lights work but the brake lights do not?

The parking lights and stop-turn signals are two different circuits so you would need to check the turn signal circuit coming out of the trailer plug on the truck first.
You should have one wire in the plug for each side, and they should be hot when the turn signal switch in in that position and the light is flashing on the truck.

Sprinter trans stuck in park

You have blown a brake light fuse is my guess due to shorted trailer wiring, The shifter is locked in park unless the brakes are applied and they work. Check the brake lights.

It sounds like you lost a ground.
check traier hookup first.
Probably not the controller.

Trailer Wiring Harness

for your trailer you need park light, brake light, left and right signal light. the best way is to tap them in the rear tail light wires.

Tow plug

I take it the blinkers and brake lights work ok when not hooked up to the trailer? If yes, then the wiring to the tow hitch is not hooked up correctly. How many wires to trailer pig tail connection? U can have up to 7 depending on what you tow. Check to make sure these wires are hooked up from the truck to tow plug correctly: 7 wired---
brown-Rt turn and brake light, yellow-backup, white-ground, blue-electric brake, green-tail running lights, black-battery charger, red-left turn signal and brake light. Let me know if u have something other than 7 wire, I'll get the wiring color and source info for u.
