SOURCE: i have malfunction indicator lamp on how i can fix that
I have the same problem and took to ULTRA TUNE and after general service they said cant figure out the issue and asked me (on car pick up) how many times i had that light ON (answer is three times ON and OFF just in morning and after engine warm up then its goes OFF after restart) . Then day one from service i have the same problem and took it again to ULTRA TUNE (good news is i dont have to pay again to look into issues within 6 months of service) and after scanning the board they said cant figure out the issues and probably it might be either spark plug issues or sometime unleaded petrol may cause this and advised to change the fuel to premium petrol for week and then check. As expected no luck with premium petrol and third time they cleaned the throttle (full clean up) and advised the spark plug is okay and no need to change and as well as everything looks okay and advised to give a try. I went straight to GYM and back to car and started engine and got the lights TURNED on :( Its really furstating me now . CAN ANYONE PLEASE ADVISE how to handle this now?? IS HONDA service center is only place they can tell whats the issue is???????

It could be anything at all that is electrical or sensor-related in nature. Your car is an OBD2 car (for emissions), and it's a very strictly-controlled system. As a result, pretty much anything that fails will cause the light to come on and will store a code in the computer. Go to AutoZone and ask them to scan your computer for codes - they'll do it for free, where a dealer will hit you for up to an hour's labor. They'll tell you the fault codes, which will point you in the right direction for the fix. Get the codes that come out of the scan and post them as a reply here and we can go from there.

First change the fuel filter its due anyway at 90thou plus. then you have to check sparkplugs, due anyway. then have the fuel pressure checked if it is building 30psi plus. if not the fuel pump may be the culprit.
