Keeper of fire here is mostly right...however, on my 96 grand cherokee with the 5.3 liter V8, there is a slight design flaw...the evaporator tube is actually IN the framing...
this baffled me for a time, until a local jeep mechanic told me that this was regular in a jeep zj, and that all i had to do was pull back the carpet on the psg side and drill (yes drill) a hole into the plastic so you can stick the wire in, or an air hose and unclog your tube from there...then you silicone it back up and tada!! be sure however that before you drill willy nilly that you are actually drilling in the right spot, this can kinda be found by following what bit of hose is visable and seeing where it disapears into the floor...and its a little black plastic circle that you will drill into...hope this helps!

Condensatoin is normal. There is a drain for that water that goes trough the firewall that is probablely clogged. Its useually a rubber elbow looking tube that is on the lower side of the fire wall on the passenger side. You should be able to see it if you open the hood and look down the firewall.I would try sticking a peice of wire or something similar in trough the drain and see if its blocked.Let me know if this helps.

What is causing water to leak down onto the floorboard of my 2004 Mazda 6 when I have AC on?

this will be condensate from the fins of the ac evaporator in the car and is leaking onto the floor because the drain on the unit is blocked either in the hose or at the bottom of the ac box

What is causing water to leak down onto the passenger side floorboard of my 2004 Mazda 6 wagon when I have AC on?

Feel the water and smell it. If it smells sweet and fells oily, is is coolant. If is isn't oily and has no real smell, it is water. There is a tray under the evaporator and heater cores that catches water/coolant and drains it via a tube thru the firewall to the outside of the car. This tube is probably clogged and needs purged. If you have coolant on the floor, you'll need to replace the heater core. If it is water, purging the hose will solve the problem as the water is just condensation from the AC coils

I have lots of water on passfloor carpet soaked 1996 jeep gc 4x4 what can it be

I'm not sure where the drain hose is but its lower than the floor.
There should be a hose or tube sticking out of the floor or the firewall on the passenger side that drains the ac evaporator.
If the tube is clear, the bottom of the HVAC housing could be blocked.

My ac is leaking water into my floorboard why?

There is a drain that goes through the firewall to remove any condesation that the evap core has removed from the air coming into the vehicle. That drain has become plugged. Usually you will see a small rubber elbow sticking out of the firewall on the engine side and usually towards the passenger side. Once you find the drain you can carefully poke around to get the debris moved.

Water on the passenger side floorboards from the

Likely the drain hose for the A/C evaporator. Should be low on the passenger side firewall (looks like a little right angle stub hose if it's a v8, probably can only see it from below.

The passenger side floorboard gets wet =

is it only when the ac is on? there is a pan under the ac unit that has a hole in it to allow the condensation to empty. if that hole gets plugged it could cause the condensation to build up and back into the inside of that car. i unplugged mine and floor stayed dry
