Firing order may be problem (examine your intake manifold for 6 numbers) OR if firing order is correct then your "gaps" are wring on plugs or faulty plug wires. Examine running engine at night for any arcing.

2004 chrysler van 3.8 motor replaced coil pack still doesnt fire number 4 cylinder

If the coil pack has a four wire connector, one wire is primary voltage, the other three wires are ground, one ground for each coil, one coil fires two spark plugs. If problem with coil or ground, you would lose spark for two spark plugs. Did you visually check for spark, everywhere? What about the spark plug wire or the spark plug, itself?

Would a 2001 Chrysler town and country faulty engine module cause number 2 cylinder not to fire

not likely, since the engine module also fire the plug across from the #2 cylinder on the coil pack. check for spark directly at the coil, if none is found ,then most likely a bad coil pack.

2002 Town & Country 3.8 v-6 starts but just dies when put into gear

Check the wire harnesses around the exhaust cross-over. Many have found degraded wires there, as I did. The cover is held by Velcro. Also change your spark plug wires, especially the rear ones.

Reconnect spark plug in correct order

There are 2 different V6 engines used in this year of Van, a 3.3 liter and a 3.8 liter. The diagram and firing order is the same for both engines. Below is the diagram from the service manual and the firing order.

Town and country van started hesitating and engine(?) exhaust(?) back firing? it has plenty of oil, wondering if it's a fuel filter?

Hello, I have seen a lot of these vans back fire because of bad plugs. The reason being two of the back spark plugs are very hard to get to and when a lot of shops did a tune up they don't replace them. So it probably needs them 2 plugs changed for sure.
