I have a 2000 Nissan Altima that is making a clicking noise in the right front tire. My speedometer stopped working for a short time the other day and was wondering if this noise is related to the speedometer cable?

If you still have the clicking noise in right front tire it could be your wheel bearing your speedometer cable goes in your trans. not your wheels

The "buzzing noise"; I can tell that I am not alone in having this problem but has someone figured out ... I fit does, that eliminates the brake rotors, tires, wheelbearings, CV's etc. ... BUT with an Altima it is probable the pre-cats. Loud humming noise when driving

2008 nissan altima speedometer inop and Warning indicators on

Sounds like your charging system (Alternator) may be failing. Take it to an auto parts store and have a charging system load test performed.

Let us know results.

Metal on metal sounding clicking noise while the wheels are turning but only on the frot driver and passenger wheels. What is going on? It started out only on the passenger side and then after the tire...

Is the noise a screeching high pitch or a growling low pitch?
It sounds to me that the CV joints might be bad and you need brakes.
high pitch would be the brake warning tabs
the low pitch would be the brake pads are gone and you are on the rotors gringing away metal

Replaced front shocks in front of nissam altima 2003. still makes rattling noise on front right side. what could it be

It is probably the strut bearing. this is a metal bearing that the strut sticks through at the strut tower.

2000 quest speedometer not working

Most common is the speedometer, for you speedometer issue. As for your radio display. If the radio works but has no display, then it's a radio problem not a fuse.

Steering wheel vibration and whine noise from rear of car

Yes, and it probably is your wheel bearing. Hearing a sound like a chain dragging is classic. You may also hear a clicking noise or chain dragging noise when turning to the left or right.

Look under the car and see if the rubber boots that surround the axle near the tires are cracked and leaking grease. If so, it is almost a certainty that the bearings are bad as you have lost grease and thus lubrication to the bearings.

Good luck,

2000 nissan altima

your cv joint is bad. Instead of fixing the cv joint it is actually easier and cheaper to have or replace the entire axle your self. Because it comes with a cv joint and you get a new axle also.
