I have a 99 chrysler concorde 3.2L and the car wont start, when you try to start it the car sounds like it wants to catch but it doesn't...

We just bought the car yesturday and maybe got 10 mins down the road and stopped at a gas station. When I got back in the car to start it up it wouldn't start... however after paying someone to tow it to my house I tried to start it this morning, at first it did the same thing it wanted to start but wouldn't catch, so I tried again and it started up turned it off and on a few times.. what could the issue be?

Air filter doesn't look to bad neither does the housing.. i will have to research the fuel filter to see where it is on the car as i said we just got it hopefully it is something I can do myself. I have some other people telling me it could be a sensor as well.. could that be it?

The Sensor's give Input to the ECU (Engine Control Unit) ... Or the Computer.. So yes, any sensor could be doing it. but my experience is the list I gave you

Ok thank you. My husband says that the list you gave should be easy for him to do. I will let you know how everything works out.

SOURCE: starting problems

someone "masicured"? Maybe you mean Massacred? Under the hood? LOL. OK, maybe mice got under your hood and chewed all the wires since it would be weird and hard for someone to get under the hood. That's what happened to ours.

SOURCE: i have a 1998 chrysler sebring..do i need a fuel pump ? won't start up right away until i give it gas usually in mornings, sometimes after making complete stops car cuts off after pushing back on gas?

This is not the fuel pump. It sounds like the computer is not setting the proper fuel mixture.

SOURCE: 1997 Chrysler Concorde just stopped running while

Three things make the engine run. Air, fuel, spark. One or more of those is not present and the engine stops.pull a plug wire off, put a screwdriver in the end, have a friend turn over the engine while u hold the screwdriver near a metal part of the engine(dont touch the wire or screwdriver) look to see if there is a blueish white spark. If no then u have to trouble shoot the ignition. if yes... take off the air filter, spray some starter fluid in the air entrance and try to start. If it starts u have a fuel problem.
If the car has high mileage the timing belt could have broke

2004 chrysler concorde not starting cold, engine pops but wont catch and start

Don't flood it.Get it into a heated garage overnight or put a magnetic heater on the engine for 12 hours and with a STRONG battery and 1 or 0 gauge booster cables and maybe a shot of quick start.......start her up.She will.

2003 chrysler concorde ,

Most vehicles have a brake sensor on the top of the brake pedal and it may be out of adjustment. It's very simple to adjust. Try checking that out. If it's out of adjustment it doesn't know you're foot is on the brake until you push the pedal very hard. But don't adjust it too far the other way or you're brake lights won't work right.

Where is the drain plug on a 2001 concorde for the ******?

I assume the blanked out word is short for transmission. The Concorde doesn't have a transmission drain plug; you'll have to drop the pan.

2000 chrysler concorde check engine light came on, dash lighs flash and transmission wont shift any ideas?

It sounds like you have a problem with your security system if you mean that it won't allow you to shift out of park. BUT you should start off getting the engine error code read so you will know what the car is trying to tell you. Anytime you get a check engine light, the vehicle generates an error code.

Since you probably can't drive it, you need to rent, borrow or buy an OBDII scanner and get that code, so it gives you a clue on where to begin the troubleshooting process.

99 Chrysler Concorde electrical problem

probably a relay. relays control switching of power from one compound circuit to another. because you have multiple circuits that are not working, this sounds likely. get a wiring schematic and find out which relay controls that system, then try replacing it.
