Had problem with front brakes hanging up and causing steering wheel shake. replaced front rotors and pads, hoped it was just old parts. upon replacement found driver side caliper hard to compress. post replacement driver side brakes locks up after several braking attempts. when locked opening bleeder screw driver caliper relieves lock condition, so does leaving the car sit for awhile.
SOURCE: left front brake caliper locked up, what causes
the small rubber boot around the piston is either off or has a hole, which let water in and rusted the piston to the cylinder
also can be caused by a hot caliper submurged in water
SOURCE: The front passager side brake got locked frequently. Wheel is hot
If you open the brake fluid bleeder on that caliper you should have brake fluid dripping out. If not it could be the rubber flex hose has collapsed. If fluid drips out then the caliper is sticking and should be rebuilt or replaced.
Testimonial: "In five months I've replaced the caliper twice, and the new one is only 3-days old. When I installed the new caliper I checked bleeder. looked good."
SOURCE: Repeat issues with drivers side front brake caliper
Were the lines to the brakes completely flushed out? If not have that done. Contaminates in the fluid id common and will bind the pistons in the brake calipers causing premature wear to the brake pads
If the pistons are sticking they will need to be removed and the inner piston wall cleaned thoroughly. Rebuilt calipers are much easier to replace if rebuilding your own is not an option you want to take

Replace the brake hose. An internal tear in the hose can allow fluid to flow into the caliper, but collapse inside not allowing the pressure to release.
