1977 corvette dome light wont turn off - Corvette Chevrolet Cars & Trucks

In the picture below the arrow points to the courtesy light fuse.

Park brake switch may be on or the light may have come on because of low brake fluid in the master cylinder. There is a sensor in the reservoir and it turns on the same light as the park brake.

you bleed like you would the brake system. there is a bleeder screw on the slave cylinder that you bleed the system.

Look at the head lite switch for a burned resistor.

Your 2000 Corvette has a dome light? They didn't come with one. The interior lights are basically map lights and they are located on the rear view mirror.

Remove the key from the ignition. Make sure the doors are closed, so the new bulb does not illuminate when you are installing it.

Make sure the dome lighting switch is turned to the "Off" position. Pry the plastic lens away from the dome light. Use a small, flat-head screwdriver.

Push back the side bulb clamp. Pull out the old dome lightbulb. Wipe the area with a paper towel if it is dirty.

Wrap the new bulb in a paper towel. Insert it into the dome lightbulb holder. Push it up gently to secure it.

Turn the switch to "On" to test the bulb. Reposition the cover and push up to lock the clips into place.

ARE THE FRONT AND REAR TURN SIGNAL INDICATOR BULBS ON STEADY AS WELL?

It is more than likely in a fuseable Link coming off of the battery or off of the alternator causing your power lose. How many grounds did you check, because there are at least two grounds on the car. The first one is the main ground off of battery and the second one coming off of the back of the engine.
