Change your ignition coil. Mine wouldn't start in the cold. I had to give it gas & it would backfire until it warmed up.

keemo68 is right, I had the same prblm and it was one of the relays. There are 4 relays located under the hood, passenger side, just above the wheel. They're quite cheap so buy one, then replace the first one, if still not ok put it back in place and try to replace the second one, til you find the defective one. Think I've paid $5-$6 in a wholesale electronics parts, they're quite standard.

Wher is the ignition control module located in a jeep grand cherokee lorado

6 or 8 cylinder? Either way the computer (ECM) controls the coils. 6 cyl has a 'coil rail' and 8 cyl had individual coils on each cylinder. There are crankshaft and camshaft sensors that tell the ecm when to fire each cylinder

Changed coil in 1993 jeep grand cherokee lerado still not getting fire from coil

Have your ignition module checked. Also check codes for bad reference signal for cam or crank sensor.

My Jeep keeps givin me code three five five can not find meaning

The code is for coil number 5 on Jeeps that use direct ignition and no distributor. A 1994 Cherokee uses a distributor.
In your case it could mean no signal to the coil from the dist.
A mechanic would check for voltage at the coil and signal from the module in the distributor.

94 jeep 5.2l no fire on some of the plugs

one of the coil packs is bad or the ignition driver module.you may even have a bad lead wire..swap a couple leads,be careful not to mix them up and see if the spark moves to a different plug.
the tach pulse that drives the ignition module is generated by the distributor

88 jeep cherokee icm

The ignition control module for the 1988 Jeep Cherokee is located on the ignition coil for the 4.0 L SSI, or in the distributor for the HEI system, which is easily identified by the large distributor cap. The 2.5 L Renix ignition module is located left of the battery and is integrated to the coil.

94 jeep grand cherokee 6 cylinder

Check the starter, selinoid, and then the ignition switch if the motor will not turn over. If it turns over without fire check the ignition coil and then the distributor.

94 Jeep Cherokee won't start

I believe the green wire is a pulse from the distributor and its a ground signal. I could be wrong since is been a while since i left the jeep dealer...I would take the coil out (2 bolts on most) and take it to autozone. They can test it in minutes for free. Either that or the ignition module but more common is coil.
