use a scan tool, pull the DTCs if any, any errors stored/ y/n? is the check engine lamp on, running.? also the top stall reason (after a tuneup) is sticking open EGR valve (clean it) or ISC idle valve. (clean it.) can you save the stall, easy with right foot action?

loosen gas cap, if wrong gas cap, missing the vacuum breaker it will stall engine. btw the ECU will report the loose cap , so this is just a quick test if it refuses to start.

(if engine is good, not overheated )
its only 1 of 2 things.
lost spark (do a spark test using , yes, a test good spark plug)
if spark is good on all cyl
then check fueling, if spark plugs not soaked in fuel (tips)
then try test fuel.
if soaked, the op guide says, hold throttle fully open (depressed 100%) this cuts INJECTIONS 100% and you start a flooding motor)

Same problem for me. The car would idle at about 2500 when started from cold and about 3 miles on would not idle at all, resulting in the revs dropping off when changing gear or stopping. Also rather jerky in top gear unless thrashed - numerous trips to the garage for air idle valve, injectors etc. but still a problem! Have just found out that GVs are a bit prone to carbon build up in the throttle body - mine was almost blocked - it now feels like a different car.

Check if there's a spark in the cable going to the distributor. If there's none then you may have a problem in the ignition system components. A defective air flow sensor can also cause a no start. If spark is present, you may want to visit the fuel system of your car.

03 suzuki grand vitara starts up in morning after 10 minutes its warm drive to town shut off wont start back starts and dies starts and dies 3 times then starts and runs till next shut off

check whether you do have a problem with your cam or crank sensor. Or the fuel pump whether when it gets warm stop working,(loosing the pressure ) These things you do need a specialist to check the sensors and the fuel pump.

Security light key

did it crank, that is the most important.
if a car does not crank over, it can never start,
(rare exception, manual trans, push started)

My 2007 grand vitara consumes a lot in just in one day

My first guess would be that the fuel level sending unit inside the fuel tank is defective and you are getting a false reading on the garage.

Suzuki grand vitara 2000 model the engine light blinks

Take your rig.. drive it to a gas station.. fill the tank up with gas.. also fill 2 jugs of gasoline at the same time... put the jugs in the back of it.. now drive as far as you can until the rig runs out of gas.. then, take the two jugs of gas.. pour it all over the rig, inside and out.. now light it a-blaze, then walk to your nearest car dealer and buy a new car..
