you sure can do it yourself,some models the coil packs are bolted up seperatly usually 2 small bolts some models you have to replace all coils,either way you can do it! have a good day DB

The a/c compressor will only turn on if it is full of refidgerant and presure levels aren't too high on the back side of the compressor. Check these first. Only use the appropriate type ie, r-12 or r-134 unless it has been flushed and retofitted.
