2005 dodge grand caravan sxt

1. Removal and re-installation of headliner (to discover a water leak which shows up in the passenger side cowel handle area).
A windshield specialist has already reviewed the windshied stating AOK. Also, removed luggage rack -cleaned and resealed with silicone. So next step: advised by Dodge dealer/maintenance to do what they do - remove headliner such that with the application of water one could isolate the leak and set about to correct it...
2. Automatic opening and closer of sliding door (drivers side) no longer works. Suggestions please...

It sounds like you might have a bad switch or it might be just a fuses, you might want to check both out.

How to replace a water pump on a 2005 dodge grand caravan water pump is leaking, added fluid but is still leaking and now more frequently want to replace it as a do it ourselves

this isnt a solution, just a suggestion.my husband,a fairly skilled home mechanic, recently did this.it took 12 hours over a 2 day period.you have to remove everything from the front of the motor, including the motor mounts,to access the pump.make sure you change the timing belt at the same time if it shows ANY signs of wear so you aren't doing the procedure again anytime soon..good luck!!

2005 dodge caravan leaking on the driver side and passenger side floor. the rain water is dropping from corner of the roof.

The rear ac evaporator box is not draining very well, and it is blowing the condensation up threw the vents, most likely. The drain should be under the rear passengers side wheel well.

Water is leaking from under glove compartment

water dripping from under the glove box area is usally a sign of water in the heating ducts. water runs down the windshield and goes under the cowel, then instead of draining, it some how enters the air intake for your heating system. Take off your wipers, and remove your cowel, you will be able to see the air intake (on the passangers side) and the reason why the water is being directed into it.

Smell antifreeze kind of behind the throttle body by the passenger side firewall but, no leaks. Everything is dry liek a bone. I also hear gurgling from the coolant reserve tank after my 2005 Dodge Grand...

Is it low in water? You have a heater control valve on that side . Your heater hoses connects to it to let hot water in the car when the heater is turned on. Check and make sure the passenger floor is dry. If it is wet you will need a heater core

Cleaning drainage holes

i think the drainage holes you are reffering to are the ones in the front cowel. You have to remove the wiper arms and the unscrew the cowel to get at the drains.
