SOURCE: need spark plug wiring diagram for 1965 ford

Try this. If the distributor is in the right way, the clips that hold the cap on should be just a hair off of 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock. #1 is positioned at 1 o'clock, which is at the firewall side of the distributor. The firing order is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8and is counterclockwise from #1. The passenger's side is cylinders 1-2-3-4, from the front of the car. The driver's side is 5-6-7-8 from the front. Hope this will help.

I have a 88 ford F250 that want start after ran hot pulling in my drive-way a year ago.. Any answers?

is it seized check and see if there is a crank rotation, then start from the beginning battery, connections from and to battery, starter, to aldenator and so on. Check spark first...no spark no fire. If its seized then you have a wholelist of other problems.

Trying to start, engine turns over just fine but will not fire. Therefore, will not start. Sound like the starter??

If your engine is turning over (spinning) when you are trying to start it, it is not your starter. First make sure you are getting fuel and spark to your spark plugs and go from there. There is a fuel pump cutoff switch that can "pop" which is common in Fords but there are is a relay as well if your not getting fuel. If your not get spark then your looking at a whole different matter then. If you need the location of the cutoff switch or relay just post a comment to this solution and I believe they let me know through my email. I will send you that info if you need it as well as some picture as to the locations. i hope this helped and good luck.

95 F250 not starting

You said you tightened the battery cables, did you check the other end of the negative where it bolts to the engine. When you tightened the cables you also used a battery brush and cleaned the posts and ends?

1993 ford f250 will crank but not start. Ran fine after headers were installed. next morning, just turned over, but never started.

Is it possible that during the process some wires for the emission system came in contact with the heat and burned them? This could easily cause a short and burn out the ECM or a fuse.

Check the timing belt. The belt can break and it will turn over with the starter but won't fire.
