SOURCE: I have a 1992 chevy truck with a headlight problem.

Check all the wiring. it sounds like you have a loose wire or bad switch somewhere that is rattling around while the truck is running/driving.

Where is my fuse for my headlights on my 1984 chevy impala

GM does not fuse the headlights, the main headlight switch has a built in circuit breaker. It would be better if you just described the problem.

Cant find headlight fuse 1992 chevy suburban

If the high beam lights work by pulling on the dimmer switch, you are bypassing the headlight switch.
There should be a circuit breaker inside the headlight switch which could be faulty.

Why dont my headlights work in a 1994 chevy 2500 6.5L turbo diesel

Well I don't see a fuse or fuseable link for the headlight circuit.
In years past there was a circuit breaker built into the headlight switch for the headlights and fuses for everything else.
I would check the red wire on the switch for power first.
It could also be a problem with the dimmer switch.

I recently replaced a heater fan on a 1992 chevy lumina euro, and now the headlights will not work on it, the rest of the lights do but the headlights wont, i checked all the fuses on the car including the...

Have you tried High Beam and Low Beam? Your headlamps are powered by a self-resetting circuit breaker located in the Component Center which is located under the right side of the dash. (see picture)dttech_4.gif It is not likely that the circuit breaker has failed.(although possible)
If neither the high beams or low beams work, you probably have a bad Headlamp Switch or a bad Dimmer Switch. If one works and the other doesn't, I would check the bulbs first. If the bulbs are good, then you still may have a bad switch. Also check all your ground wires near the headlamps.

Where is the fuse for the headlights for a 1988 chevy silverado

The headlights are not fused, they have a circuit breaker built into the main headlight switch on all GM built cars and trucks. If the headlights are not working most likely the headlight switch and connector will be burnt out, the contacts will be discolored and the connector smell burnt, replace both, the parts are fairly cheap

I think the headlight fuse is blown for my 92 geo metro, but the fuse box doesnt have a cover anymore so i cant tell which fuse to replace. can u help me?

Headlights are not powered by a fuse. It uses a mini circuit breaker and or a main fuse located in the main fuse/relay center under hood. Have the mini circuit breaker checked. The fuses/relays are marked in the main box.

Both head lights don't work on my 1992 Ford Ranger. Could it be a fuse? All other lights are working.

I believe headlights have a self resetting circuit breaker. Perhaps the headlight switch is bad, or the dimmer switch... both must work for headlights to work. Get a meter or test light and check to see where you're not getting power. I hope this helps.

Headlights won't work

There is no fuse for the headlights. There is a circuit breaker in the headlight switch and a fusible link down at the starter. If everything works then I would replace the headlight switch because the fusible link controls all power to the truck except the starter. Hope this helps.

Chevy S/10 headlights

headlights are on a circuit breaker--not a fuse. so if you have a high amp draw situation--the breaker will get hot and turn the lights out then cool off and reconnect(a safety feature so you may have headlights a least part of the time). You need to look for reasons for a high draw. bad headlights themselves are the most popular cause as well as corroded connecters. Hope I helped
