Directly on top of the motor,Remove the black cover plate(6-8 screws).Next remove the contents within the "well"....The small boxes with the solid, yet wax-like-looking material within them.....and the plunger-ended spark plug wires(carefully pulling)...lift out these parts, remembering their order...WATCH FOR SMALL,BLACK WASHERS.....The plugs reside inside engine head...you will need an extension...It really is easy!

There are 2 coils, they're black square things about 1 1/2 inches or so square. Tops are probably a brown resin color. They unbolt with 10mm bolts IIRC. There are plugs underneath the coils, connected with adaptors. There are 2 plug wires going from the coils to the other spark plus.
DON'T TAKE THE PLUGS OUT WHEN THE ENGINE IS WARM!
BE CAREFUL STARTING THE NEW PLUGS, MAKE SURE THEY TURN EASY BEFORE YOU USE A RATCHET.
