Replaced battery with new battery engine rolls over wont start before car broke down it was running as if it had no power i checked transmission fluid level and put some dexron 111 fluid in i checked the condition of spark plugs which looked normal red color when i turn the key in the ignition i can hear the fuel pump motor running
It's possible the timing chain slipped a link, but you should follow the usual troubleshooting steps at the link below.
Do It Yourself Diagnosis and Repair
SOURCE: no start
if it runs on starting fluid its a fuel problem.. check fuel pressure even if its a couple of pounds off, the vehicle will not run. but using starting fluid may give you the extra poundage you need to make it run . also check vacuum hose at pressure regulator on fuel rail

You need to drain some coolant. Loosen and disconnect water lines by the firewall- the ones in the way of your wire change. u need to get a diagram of the firing order of the engine so that those wires are correctly connected to the coil packs.

You have a problem in the fuel pump relay circuit for sure then. I'm betting the relay, but it could be that dropping resistor.
SOURCE: car turns over, but won't start
Too many choice.
3 main areas are fuel, spark, air.
Try a shot of ether, if it fires at all, it is a fuel problem.
Then we can get into more detail.

unplug the cam sensor behind the water pump pulley; see if it starts; if it does, shut off engine; replace both cam and crank sensors because crank sensors go out in these engines
