Turn right signal on and the flashers come on, sporadically

2003 Chevy HD 1500 4x4, when I turn the right signal light on, the flashers come on, but it doesn't do it all the time, only some of the time. This never happens when signalling left, just right. The signal will work normally for a while and then the flashers only come on when signalling right, then after a while it will be normal again.

The combo turn signal/lights/cruise stalk (and anything else on there) is probably bad or rapidly headed that way. Not a cheap fix.

Left turn signal goes off right turn flashes fast when I turn on head light on 2004 Chevy express 1500

Do you know what a DVOM - digital volt ohmmeter is ? How to use wiring diagrams to test electrical circuits with DVOM? Do you know how the turn signals work ? What controls them ? More then likely it's a problem with turn/hazard flasher module.

Turn Signal/Hazard Lamps
The IGN E 10 A fuse in the underhood fuse block supplies battery positive voltage to the turn signal switch assembly. Ground for the hazard switch is from G302. The FLASHER 15 A fuse in the underhood fuse block supplies battery positive voltage to the turn/hazard flasher module. When the turn signal switch is placed in either the left or right position, a voltage signal is completed from the turn signal switch to the turn/hazard flasher module. When the hazard flasher switch is activated, a ground signal is completed from the hazard switch to the turn/hazard flasher module. The turn/hazard flasher module then sends an on-off voltage signal to the appropriate turn signal lamps, or to all turn signal lamps for hazard operation through these fuses:

We're the signal flasher on a 2003 Chevy Malibu voice recognition for 2003

Technically --you don't have a flasher.....The 4 way button on the dash is a combination turn/ hazard flasher.

No brake, turn signal, or flashers at rear of 2006 chevy express 2500

Sounds like a bad turn signal switch. I bet if you wiggle the turn signal lever while you have your foot on the brake pedal the left and right brake lights ill intermittently work.

I have a 1987 chevy deluxe r10 dont have any turn signal I have head light brake lights park light an hazard lights but no right turn signal nor left turn signal I have check all fuses and put a new signal...

I think you might have a separate flasher for the turn signals under the dash. The turn and hazard flasher would look alike. Turn you hazards on and find the flasher for it under the dash. You will probably be able to feel it working and hear it clicking. The other flasher under the dash is for the turn signals. Try replacing that one. I think it was in later years they began to combine the two into a single composite flasher.

Turn signals work sporadically. Hazard lights blink for about 20 seconds then stop. I read online about many other complaints about this. What's the problem?

the hazard flasher module is very common on these. When the turn signals don't work wiggle the flasher button. If the turn signals start working again than the flasher module is bad.

They are readily available in the aftermarket, relatively inexpensive, and easy to replace.

My 2003 chevy impala turn signals won't blink. the lights come on but won't blink. I have checked the fuse. it looked fine.

Hi,

Your problem is your blinker or flasher, it is located under dash, behind the instrument panel right above the steering column. Cost is no more than $10.
