You have actually four fuse compartments, 2 under your rear seat, one under hood, and one located on the left side of dash, next to the vent by door ..Often overlooked..Good luck...

SOURCE: check charging system light on 1995 olds aurora

Usually its your alternator, the light comes on when your charge voltages drops below a certain level.

SOURCE: Tail light wount work.

First Look For A Bab GROUND Usually in the TRUNK in or Close to the Junction PLUG Normally on the LEFT Side of Trunk. Sense you DO HAVE All other Lights In Rear, its A Remote Idea that Ground IS the Problem. BUT A GOOD Rule in AUTO ELECTRICAL is to RULE OUT GROUND. ALSO License Plate Lights are On SAME CIRCUIT So IF they DO NOT Work then
The HEADLIGHT SWITCH is The Problem Because The "TAIL" Lights are Separated From Headlights in the HEADLIGHT SWITCH, To TEST with a TEST-LIGHT you Will Be Looking for the BROWN or GREEN Wire Coming OUT of the Switch. I Hope This is the Cure for Your Oldsmobile. I Feel Confident that this WILL Help you to Get your TAILLIGHT'S WORKING. Have A Great Day ! , rejakwilson

Is the motor stiff to start turning?
If you can reach it give it a squirt of WD40 on the spindle bearings. Try not to hit the brushes.

Can't find fuse for tail lights. Not in cluster by steering wheel, not in cluster under hood.

the rear tail lights, license plate bulbs, and the front park lights are all fed off the same fuse. I show fuse one in the dash fuse block (15 amp). If the front amber park lights are working its not a fuse.

Are you sure the bulbs are good? Have you checked the connections in the harness?

Tail lights, parking lights and dash lights not working

If signal lights are working, probably a failing headlight switch. Even though fuses seem OK, you can try replacing the appropriate fuse.

if the security light came on, then you need first to disable the security feature of the car. did you get the remote keys for the alarm as well?

it has this immobilizer feature that would prevent thief from starting the vehicle.
