I have ignition noise coming from my sub-woofer. Also, when the cruise control is turned on and set, there is a 'pop' sound heard. When the cruise is cancelled then resumed, there is a louder 'pop. If the headlights are turned on, the intensity of the ignition noise is reduced. The outside temperature makes no difference (hot or cold, summer or winter), nor does the operating temperature of the car.

put a jumper wire between the bottom two pins in the plug for the throttle position sensor, if it idles down you need to replace the idle throttle position sensor

sounds to me like its a cv joint. if the rubber boot gets damaged in any way, dirt gets in there and really does some damage. check the boot really good. if you dont see any holes or anything it might just be the wheel bearing. id take it to a mechanic and ask him to just look at it. usually they wont charge ya.
I had a wire connector on the front of the engine that had so much tension, the wires broke. I didn't notice until a wet day when the car wouldn't start (and the Check Engine light was on). (The error code was related to an Emissions error.) The connector is located on the engine, front, just left of center. Hope this helps!

Sounds like you need a new battery, when the battery loose its cca ( cold cranking amps capabilities) make a fast clicking noise.
