Hi PSTC,

Where to begin? Well if you went below periscope depth, it's going to need a lot of attention in a very short period of time . Hopefully it was fresh and not salt water.

Your going to need a lot of oil, oil filter, rislone, gas, Gas cans, oil pans, Cap, rotor, plugs battery, leaf blower (serious), wet/dry shopvac, air compressor with air gun (spot drying), halogen lights, fans

The engine: Don't turn it over yet!!!

  • Pull the plugs
  • Drain the oil
  • Replace filter
  • Put aquart of rislone in with the first oil change
  • Turn it over a couple times, you will probably get very Vegas like fountains from the plug holes
  • Put a little oil in each plug hole
  • Turn it over again to coat the cylinder walls.
Transmission: drain and replace appropriate fluid at least twice.

Hit the interior.
  • Pull the carpets up far enough to find the floor board drain plugs.
  • Pull them up, push them through where ever there is still water.
  • Use the shop vac to **** up as much of whats left as you can.
  • Same in the trunk.
  • Unbolt the seats and pull them out. Put them in front of fans, in direct sunlight, you get the idea?
  • Use the leaf blower like a big hair dryer

Theres a bunch more, but these steps, if done immediately can save your engine, tranny and keep you interior from turning into an inside out chia pet

Best of luck to you,
Mike

SOURCE: hard to start toyota corolla 1994

if its hard to start it could be a battery issue and you might just have to replace the battery. i could also be a starter, in which you would just need to replace it. if i were you i would test the batttery before and after a load has been applied. if you dont know how then you can just take it to an advanced auto parts and they have a machine in which it tests the battery and other components and it can tell you if it the starter or battery. i could also be spark plugs but thats a rarity because it would just affect how the vehicle runs not really how it starts.

My corolla altis 2002 model makes noise during idling and when trying to accelerate noise comes more louder and it doesnt have power but i changed the timing kit and the valves,it also shows the engi

I'm pretty good with noises, but to answer your question, you're going to have to describe the noise itself. For example, at idle you hear a clicking, chattering, squeaking or rattle. If you can also let us know where the "noise" is coming from (engine, trans, drive axle) that would also be helpful. Try to be as descriptive as possible, so somebody can help you out. Most people have experienced the same issues and can help if given a better description.

Do toyota altis 2003 has a starter with carbon solenoid? My altis initially is hard start then finally won't start anymore.

No not carbon in the solinoid. Has the battery been load tested on a special machine teser? Do that first.

My toyota altis 2004 consumes engine oil, about 1 litre per week?

Whats the milage on it?
you seem to have a serious leak, have you checked if it leaves an oil puddle after you parked overnight, if not, try that next morning.
Is is burning oil, do you see blue smoke come out of the tailpipe, if you do, then you are seriously burning oil, engine is asking for an overhaul...
Good luck...

My toyota altis 2002 1.6E is using up oil, almost every month we need to put a liter of oil. what could possibly cause it?

if this car has more than 100,000 miles, try switching the motor oil to a "high mileage" formula oil. this can reduce oil leakage, and reduce oil burnoff.

Is tune up needed in toyota altis 2002? gas consumption has gone up to 6 kms. per liter

officially, there are no "tune-ups" anymore
there are just "maintenance" schedules
you did not list miles and or engine but I am assuming you are over 150k and have a 4cyl

therefore the following should have been replaced
spark plugs
fuel filter
air filter
transmission fluid/filter

Toyota corolla altis 2003, driver side power window is not working properly when using the auto button, if you close the window using the auto button it automatically closing but when it reaches to the end...

I had the same problem with my 2002 Altis. I found a solution after a lot of research and reading in the web.

1. Remove the power window motor from the regulator (mechanism).
2. Reconnect the power motor to the electronic controller(switches).
3. Perform "Auto Down" an wait until the motor stops.
4. Put a mark in the motor gear.
5. Perform "Manual Up" slowly until the gears rotates around 6 times but not greater than 10 times.
6. Remove the motor from the electronic controller.
7. Re-assemble whole power window assembly.

Toyota Altis 1.8 E Using oil, and blowing smoke

Either your cylinder rings are failing or your headgasket has broken and is the culprit. One final possibility is that your EGR value is plugged.
