Hi there, Had a few problems with my car and removed the battery. So I too needed the code. By using the numbers you assign to each radio station is how I entered the code then just hit am/fm. The code I used for my 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse is 1571. Good Luck,

The other solutions are all right as well..but if they dont seem to work for u, if u call any mitsubishi dealer and tell them the serial number, they will give u key code in about 10 secs right over the phone. assuming its a stock radio.

There should be a card in the owners manual that tells you the code but if you don't have that card then you have 2 options. Option 1 Go to the dealer and let them find the code for you. Option 2 Go buy another aftermarket head unit. I speak from experience i own a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX and i had to replace the battery so when i did that the stock radio locked up and i didn't have the unlock card. So I had to go perchase an aftermarket head unit.

Navigation sys needs a four digit pin. The 3 button option to get the SN does not work so is it the SN of the display unit I need or the SN of the Disc unit under the seat on2004 MDX

On both Honda and Acura vehicles, in the glove box where the owners manual is, there should be a radio code or something. You must have disconnected the battery changing out something, and this always happens. The card that has the code is a business card size card that is white and says, "radio code." This is why they have this anti-theft radio device, so that if anyone were to steal your radio out of your car, they will need the radio code to get it to work. otherwise, the radio is useless without the code. If you can't find it anywhere, which they do get lost very easily, you will have to go to a Honda dealership and confirm ownership of the vehicle by means of title or valid registration and drivers license. Then they will release the code to you. You may have to pay, I don't know. It wouldn't surprise me if that was the case. Hope this helps you out.

2001 mitsubishi eclipse radio says code just had work done and they disconnected the battery. I don't have the code is there any way to get the code without paying mitsubishi?

Google it. You should be able to find the code for it on Google. Type this: 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Radio Codes and hit ENTER. Do not click on the buttons under the seach bar - this will provide better results.

Hi i have a hyundai accent 2005 battery went dead now radio is locked i bought it secondhand it didnt have the code in the book my vin number is kmhcg51cr5u292649

you'll have to go to the dealer

if you sweet talk the service writer you might get the code for free...make sure you tell them how much you love the car and the factory radio and would hate to have to buy an aftermarket radio

However, more often than not you'll have to pay for service and at $90/hour it might just be cheaper to get an aftermarket radio

Need the code for the radio

None of the mitsubishi cars stereos have the same code, I had this problem with the stock stereo on my 99 eclipse spyder, I removed the stereo and put an aftermarket in, but changed it back when I was trading the car in, You have to call mitsubishi customer sevice with the serial code number on the back of the radio, also you have to provide them with information to prove that you actually own the car.

Need to know how to install new radio in a 2001 mitsubishi eclipse

call 1888mitsu2001 and hit option #4, then hit * (star), give them the last 8 digits of your vin and they will provide the code for FREE.

DO NOT PAY FOR THE CODE ONLINE OR GO TO A DEALER (they will also charge).

Wiring harness in center console cut

the CHILTONS 1990-1993 Mitsubishi eclipse repair manual has extensive electical, vacuum and other such diagrams fo this vehicle about $25 at auto parts store or online. this is probably one of the most extensive resource on this vehicle, well worth the money. in fact in most cases it payes for itself the first time you use it. (in savings on mechanic/repair shop visits. it has trouble shooting and a comprehensive chapter on every system in the car.
