Question about 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier Coupe
Cavaliers have a problem with plugs, that is probably cause. first check that fuse is OK (light comes on when defog is pressed) It should auto shutoff after 10 mins, if that is OK then check the plug. On driver's side, just beside the hood release, pull the kick panel carpet away. You will see a green plug, press on centre to open it. Find the PURPLE wire and check that contact - it is probably corroded. You can clean it, will help for a while. The best solution is to solder the two connections together (bring it to garage if not comfortable and tell them the Purple and black wires need to be soldered. Should solve the problem
