Depends on your driving habits. One of the best indicaters if you have never added brake fluid is the level in your master cyclinder. Rotors: if you feel a pulsation in the brake pedal under normal breaking.

Testimonial: "Thanks, while I asked the question wrong This does bring up a good point & much relief, as the truck currently stops on a dime.. well maybe a quarter"

The labor time on these includes pulling the front, removing the old engine, swapping the top end (intake, accessories, and recharging the A/C ) and reinstalling with test drive. Pays 20.1 hours. An experienced tech can do these in 8 complete. Let me know if you need any shop manuals.

Hello, my h1 drivers window doesn't go up, all other windows work fine, it didnt give me any trouble before, just went down and dosent go up...

Sounds like the window drive motor or switch may have failed. The driver's window gets the most use, and thus is the most likely to fail.

Hi want to install a aftermarket stereo in a 99 hummer h1 with a monsoon factory radio in it anybody have a wiring diag?

it is very common to do so however as a h1 tech myself i do not recomend such. it was by design that these monsoon systems drown out some of the decibles created by the diesel engine. if you still decide to do so i can get my manual out of storage and tell you which one are which. email me at [email protected]

1995 H1 Problem

hi raymond,

it could just be the overflow of the air conditioning. it could just be plain water which is the water condensate from the air conditioner.

look at the engine compartment firewall, find that hose and insert a long stick that can be inserted and you might un clogged the drain line.

if you are loosing coolant from the thing you are saying and you are definite that it is coolant water and not just plain water, then the heater core could have gone bad and leaking and you need to bring it down for repair or replacement.

have you been adding water to your radiator every time you use the car? if not, then im 90 percent it could just be a clogged air conditioning drain.

tnx 4 using fixya,
