Try looking underneath your driver side dash along the left side firewall, or fastened to the underside of the dash-look for the fuse box. my dad used to own a cavalier and the flasher were inside the fuse box.

Ihavr a 2000 chevy cavalier for some reason the brake lights dont work most of the time, also along with this the turn signals ewont flash. ive already replaced both sockets and bulbs in the rear im not...

Check your fuse first thing. You may also have a bad brake light switch. If the turn signals come on but just will not flash then replace the flasher relay.

My 2000 cavalier signal lights stopped working all together....both directions. the hazards still work, but i cant get my left and right turn signals to work.

Probably the flasher, as I think you have a separate flasher for the turn signals under the dash above the brake pedal. It is probably next to the hazard flasher. If you can't find it, turn the hazards on and follow the sound. The turn flasher is probably next to the hazard flasher. Please let me know if this isn't the problem or you have more questions.

Where do I find fuse for turn signal for a 2005 chevy cavalier

For 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier 2.2L SFI DOHC 4cyl, check in the passenger fuse panel the label TURN-B/U (Turn Signal & Back-Up lights)...

5a27c7b.jpg

Also, you can find this and other details in your 2005-Chevrolet-Cavalier-Owners-Manual (page 295).

Other possibility to check is... the FLASHER, sits above the gas pedal behind a small, black panel. The panel is held on with one star bolt and is situated between the gas panel arm and the bottom of the plastic molding that sits below the steering column. the flasher should be be green and clipped to a small, cube shaped harness and attached to the inside wall by two plastic clips. You will need to use a very small flat head to pry the two pieces apart. After removing the part you can verify that you have the correct replacement by comparing units, often times without opening the packaging on the replacement. Secondly you can verify that you did remove the flasher by putting your keys in the ignition, turning the on and then using your turn signals or hazards. This work for an 2001 Cavalier models, try it.

Hope help with this (remember rated this post).

1993 chevy cavalier - turn signals don't work, but four-way flashers do. EHHH?

Ther are seperate flasher modules for signal lights & 4 way flashers. Put the 4ways on & listen.Locate this module & the other is in the same area close by. Change it. Good luck!

Electronic flasher

It is in the fuse panel. Open your front car door and you will see a panel on the outside edge of your dashboard (hidden when the door is closed). That is where the fuses are and it is the big square fuse in the center.
